✸ Flowers bloom for a limited time — how do we seize their beauty in the moment and use them to brighten daily life? In this class we'll prepare a variety of seasonal flowers and foliage and teach everyone how to arrange them in the everyday vessels found on the dining table. Within a basic framework you can also pick your own favourite blooms to make a little garden all your own. Besides the cut flowers used in class, we'll also introduce potted plants suited to the season, bringing flowers into everyday life and letting you feel the wondrous energy of nature!

✸ 'Contemporary Foraging' is about seeing both the harshness and the beauty of the world. A flavour-seeking duo who blend Taiwanese herbal tea, ecology and art experiments into one. Weeds spread and nurture rich biodiversity; launching 'Contemporary Foraging,' they build bridges between people and people, people and land, people and themselves to explore a sustainable way of living from the heart. Through a sustainable foraging lifestyle, they live in symbiosis with vigorous weeds — endless learning and observation, limited foraging — teasing out the relationship between people and plants, seeing the face and value of weeds in each person's heart, and creating shared abundance between people and the natural world.

Chef Huang Wei-chih (Jeff), a country boy, excels at cooking local ingredients and folk flavours in Western, Italian and French styles, creating his own local recipes. Xu Xuan Wines is a professional Taiwanese importer of natural wines, specialising in French and Italian 'natural wine,' Japanese whisky and a slow-living aesthetic; it cherishes the beauty of no synthetic chemicals or additives, returning everything to the richness of the land rather than human alteration, offering consumers high-quality, delicious natural wine.
